The oxygen regulator is generally a pressure-reducing device for cylinder gas. When the inlet pressure and outlet flow change, the outlet pressure is always kept stable. The performance of the medical oxygen regulator affects the safety of gas use in hospitals or clinics. How to choose a suitable oxygen regulator is particularly important. The following briefly explains some basic parameter information that you need to know when purchasing an oxygen regulator.
1.Confirm the inlet connector information
To confirm the inlet cylinder connector, you can check the code on the side of the on-off valve on your cylinder. Just inform the oxygen regulator manufacturer of the cylinder code, or you can tell the gas and cylinder volume to determine the connector information.
2.Confirm the size of the outlet connector
There are many types of outlet connectors available. If you don’t know the clear connectors, please inform the oxygen regulator company of the specifications of the pipe connected to the regulator, or the outer and inner diameters.
3.Inlet pressure
Inlet pressure refers to the pressure of the gas entering the regulator. If it is directly connected to the cylinder, inform the seller to connect to the cylinder. If it is connected to other occasions, the approximate inlet pressure should be notified, and the regulator company will provide a corresponding pressure gauge regulator according to the intake pressure.
4.Outlet pressure
The outlet pressure refers to the use pressure that the user wants to obtain after reducing the pressure through the regulating valve. Inform the regulator company to use the pressure and the company matches the outlet pressure gauge range, or the user directly specifies how large the outlet pressure gauge should be.
