In August 2025, AmcareMed successfully completed the installation and commissioning of container medical oxygen generator project at Katutura Intermediate Hospital in Namibia.
Scope of Supply:
- 1 containerized oxygen generator system
- 1 containerized medical air compressor system
- 1 containerized cylinder filling system
       
Detailed Design Enhancements
AmcareMed added several thoughtful design features to improve operation, safety, and efficiency:
- Pipeline Identification: Arrows and labels were placed across pipelines and equipment for easy identification and convenient maintenance.
- Exterior Customization: Options for our overall AI design solution or client-tailored exterior finishes, meeting both functional and aesthetic requirements.
- Insulation & Noise Control: Container walls, doors, and ceilings lined with insulation and acoustic materials to reduce temperature fluctuations and noise impact on the surroundings.
- Safe Power Cabling: All power lines and cables were routed via overhead and wall-mounted trays, avoiding ground-level installation and minimizing safety hazards.
- Air Compressor Ventilation: Outlets equipped with thermal exhaust devices using double-layer steel plates and insulation cotton to discharge heat outside the container and maintain stable room temperature. External silencers with grille protection prevent noise pollution, rain ingress, and blockage by leaves or animals.
- Oxygen Exhaust System: A new barrel-type silencer with stainless steel pipelines vents exhaust outdoors. External louvers prevent debris or animals from entering.
- Air Circulation: Exhaust fans installed opposite to intake vents, with self-closing louvers to ensure proper air circulation inside the container.
- Temperature Control: Air conditioning units installed inside the machine room to prevent overheating and ensure reliable equipment operation.
- Environmental Monitoring: High-precision mechanical temperature and humidity gauges installed inside, battery-free and easy to read, helping operators monitor and adjust environmental conditions.
- Remote Monitoring: External alarm and monitoring boxes connected, capable of displaying:
- Oxygen generator status, oxygen purity, and dew point.
- Air compressor status, outlet pressure, and dew point of clean air.

The project has significantly enhanced the medical service capabilities of Katutura Intermediate Hospital, strengthened our company’s position in the African market, and helped improve local healthcare infrastructure.
